The Democratic National Convention is underway today, and while Hillary Clinton is the guest of honor, receiving the party’s nomination for president, tonight is the night First Lady Michelle Obama takes the stage.

Naturally, then, inquiring minds want to know: What time does Michelle Obama speak tonight at the DNC 2016?

According to Cox national news, Michelle Obama will likely speak at between 8:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. central time. It is important to know, though, that the major networks don’t come on the air tonight with the convention until 9 p.m. so it could be as late at that.

The White House is pitching first lady Michelle Obama’s speech tonight as a barometer of party unity.

Democrats are trying to overcome anger from Bernie Sanders supporters to the leaked emails indicating staffers at the Democratic National Committee favored Hillary Clinton in the primary race.

White House spokesman Josh Earnest says he’s confident the first lady will be warmly received at the Democratic National Convention. He says the first lady will give voice to the values and agenda that the Obama dministration has pursued over the past seven years.
