Mrs. Janie M. Haynie, 82, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi.

Mrs. Haynie was born in Abbeville, MS and worked as a pharmacy technician for over 40 years. She loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. Mrs. Haynie had a strong faith in her Lord Jesus Christ and was an active member at Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. Haynie was known for being one of the most loving, kind, and giving people one would ever come across.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Oxford, MS. A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 13,2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Oxford, MS. Interment will be at Abbeville Cemetery in Abbeville, MS. Bro. Jeff Taylor, Bro. Wayne Logan, and Bro. Tom Henry will officiate.

She is survived by three sons Jerry (Margaret) Haynie, Sherwin (Paula) Haynie, and Patrick (Khristy) Haynie, all of Abbeville; three daughters, Cathy (Gregg) Fior of Amherst, OH, Vicki (Carl) Januszewski of Vermillion, OH, and Tricia (Jesse) Ellis of Clinton, MS; one special cousin, Frankie Hughes; four grandsons, Matthew Fior of Los Angeles, CA, Anthony (Molly) Fior of Amherst, Drew (Charlotte) Kisner of Oxford, L.B. Haynie of Abbeville; ten granddaughters, Shellye Haynie and Kasey (Ian) Daniels, both of Abbeville, Natalie Fior of Amherst, Allison Haynie of Abbeville, Dana Beam of Green, OH, April Morgan Haynie and Amber Lawrence, both of Abbeville, Sara Jane Ellis of Clinton, and Katie Grace Haynie and Finlee Range Haynie, both of Abbeville; four great-granddaughters, Halee Pate Russom of Abbeville, Lillianna Grace Fior of Amherst, Jayde Daniels of Abbeville, and Danielle Reese Kisner of Oxford; and one great-grandson, Harrison Fior of Amherst.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Cecil Haynie; one son, Timothy Range Haynie; her parents, Jessie R. and Florence Smith; and one brother, Jessie Range Smith, Jr.
