Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves to speak to Oxford Pachyderm Club
Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves will be stopping by the Oxford Pachyderm Club tomorrow, Oct. 26, during the Republican-affiliated club’s monthly luncheon.
Reeves was re-elected in 2015 and is currently seeking to “improve educational achievement for students, support the creation of high-skilled jobs and responsibly manage taxpayers’ money,” according to a press release from the club.
“I’m glad there’s a place for conservatives to gather in Oxford through the Pachyderm Club, and I look forward to sharing ideas on strengthening Mississippi’s economy and raising the educational attainment level of future generations,” said Reeves.
Founding president of the Oxford Pachyderm Club, Russ Jones, is looking forward to the visit.
“The Oxford Pachyderm Club continues to attract key leaders in our effort to inform and activate citizens in the country,” said Jones. “We’re honored Lt. Gov. Reeves would take time to address our group.”
The group will meet at The Lodge (formerly Mr. Feathers and The Shack) at 10 Thacker Loop Rd. from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $15 for members and 18 for non-members. Reservations can be made online at oxfordpachyderm.com.
