Ole Miss landed another commitment Monday.
Buford High (Georgia) offensive lineman Carter Colquitt announced his decision with a post to his Twitter account. The 6-foot-6, 295-pound Colquitt picked the Rebels over offers from N.C. State and Arkansas among others.
A consensus three-star prospect, Colquitt is rated the No. 98 player in Georgia and the nation’s No. 88 offensive tackle prospect in the 247Sports.com composite rankings.
Colquitt is the third commitment the Rebels have picked up in the last 10 days and the 14th verbal pledge in the 2019 class. He’s also the third offensive lineman in the class, joining Harrison Central guard Bryce Ramsey and fellow tackle Nick Broeker.
Ole Miss’ class is ranked 16th nationally and eighth in the SEC in the 247Sports composite.
It’s an honor to wear the letters SEC.
