Ms. Betty Lou (Gibson) Bovee, 63, lost her battle with cancer and went to her Heavenly home, Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Oxford. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. also at Coleman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Yellow Leaf Baptist Church (50 Cr. 435, Oxford). Bro. Tracy Gray will officiate. A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, Miss.

Ms. Bovee is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Elizabeth (Lisa) Gibson Sanders and Lisa’s father both of Oxford; three granddaughters, Lakyn Marie Gibson, Caitlyn Skye Sanders, Ashlyn Grace Sanders, all of Oxford; one sister, Marilyn Gibson Little of Grenada, Miss.; three brothers, Danny Mitchell Gibson of Oxford, Roy (Lynn) Gibson of Myrtle, Miss., and Charles (Debra) Warmack of Mooreville, Miss. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
