Oxford and Lafayette County schools will be closed Monday, both schools announced early Sunday.

The OSD stated the decision to close was to “provide one more day for road and parking lot conditions to improve and to ensure the bus fleet is operable, buildings are operational, and campuses are safe.”

Lafayette County also stated the closing was due to “continued hazardous road conditions.”
