An Oxford man is facing charges after being arrested for touching a minor, according to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department.

On April 18, investigators with the sheriff’s department arrested Willie “Roy” Carter, 56, for allegedly touching of a child for lustful purposes. The investigation is ongoing.

Carter is currently being held at the Lafayette County Detention Center after being charged with touching of a child for lustful purposes. He was issued a bond of $50,000.
