The Oxford Police Department received a report recently from a resident who claims they were scammed by a card skimmer.

OPD believes the skimmers may have compromised other bank accounts; however, they have not taken in additional reports at this time.

OPD wants people using ATMs and paying for gas at the pump to look before inserting their card. If anything looks suspicious, do not use the card reader.
