Jay Stanley is back in the fold for Ole Miss.

Two weeks after decommitting from the Rebels, Stanley rejoined the 2019 recruiting class Sunday, announcing his commitment with a post to his Twitter account. The Brandon High defensive back is the 18th commitment for Ole Miss in the current recruiting cycle.

Stanley, who originally committed to Ole Miss in April before backing off his verbal pledge June 9, is a consensus three-star prospect ranked as the nation’s No. 78 safety and the 31st-best recruit in Mississippi in 247Sports.com’s composite rankings. The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder is the third safety in the class, joining Tupelo’s Tavario Standifer and Zachary (Louisiana) product Tyler Judson.
