Where Ole Miss’ prospects are projected to go in 2017 NFL Draft

This year’s NFL Draft won’t be like it was last year for Ole Miss when three players were taken in the first round, but a handful of former Rebels are projected to have their names called during the three-day draft, which begins Thursday in Philadelphia.
Exactly where are some of them projected to be taken with the draft just a day away? Here’s a look.
Tight end Evan Engram — rounds 1-2 (NFL.com), round 2 (Fox Sports, DraftWire, NFLDraftScout.com). Engram is ranked the 23rd overall prospect by ESPN and 38th by CBS Sports and NFL.com.
Defensive tackle D.J. Jones — rounds 4-5 (NFL.com), round 5 (Fox Sports), round 6 (DraftWire, NFLDraftScout.com). Jones is ranked the 164th overall prospect by ESPN.
Quarterback Chad Kelly — rounds 5-6 (NFL.com), round 6 (DraftWire), rounds 6-7 (NFLDraftScout.com). Kelly is ranked the 219th overall prospect by NFLDraftScout.com
Wide receiver Damore’ea Stringfellow — round 6 (NFL.com), round 7 (DraftWire), round 7 or free agent (NFLDraftScout.com). Stringfellow is ranked the 250th overall prospect by ESPN.
Defensive end Fadol Brown — rounds 5-6 (NFL.com)
Wide receiver Quincy Adeboyejo — rounds 6-7 (NFL.com), round 7 or free agent (NFLDraftScout.com)
Cornerback Derrick Jones — priority free agent (NFL.com)
Cornerback Tony Bridges — free agent (NFL.com)
Thursday’s first round will begin at 7 p.m. while rounds 2 and 3 will be held Friday starting at 6 p.m. The final four rounds will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday. The draft will be televised each day on ESPN and the NFL Network.
